Day 1: Arrival in Mombasa

Your adventure begins in Mombasa, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our safari representative upon arrival at Moi International Airport or your hotel. After a short safari briefing, you can relax and take in the coastal atmosphere. If time allows, you may explore the historic Mombasa Old Town, visit the iconic Fort Jesus, or simply unwind on the beach. Spend your first night at PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort or a similar hotel, enjoying the cool sea breeze and a taste of coastal hospitality.

Day 2: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park, a four-hour scenic drive inland through the Kenyan countryside. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for your first exciting afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is famous for its vast open plains, herds of red elephants, lions, and the striking Yatta Plateau — one of the world’s longest lava flows. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Ashnil Aruba Lodge or Voi Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Exploring Tsavo East

Spend a full day exploring Tsavo East, discovering its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. Visit the Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam, both excellent viewing points for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The park’s wild, untouched beauty offers a true sense of Africa’s wilderness. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive, returning to your lodge in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4: Tsavo East to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds and the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, and cheetahs roaming across the plains. As the sun sets behind Africa’s highest peak, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli, capturing incredible photos of wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Between drives, you can relax at your lodge or take an optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about their culture, traditions, and daily life. Amboseli’s natural beauty and close encounters with elephants make this one of the most memorable days of the safari. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, journey to Tsavo West National Park, known for its scenic hills, lava flows, and natural springs. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and visit the famous Mzima Springs — crystal-clear pools fed by underground streams where you can see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across the park’s rugged landscapes, with chances to spot leopards, giraffes, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or Rhino Valley Lodge.

Day 7: Tsavo West to Diani Beach

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely game drive as you exit Tsavo West and begin your journey back to the coast. Arrive at Diani Beach in the afternoon, where turquoise waters and soft white sands welcome you. Check into your resort and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the ocean, enjoying the tranquil beach atmosphere after your days in the wild. Overnight at Baobab Beach Resort or Neptune Paradise Beach Resort.

Day 8–9: Diani Beach Stay

These two days are dedicated to relaxation and coastal adventure. You may choose to unwind on the beach, swim, or indulge in optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, or a dolphin-watching tour at Wasini Island. For nature lovers, a visit to Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest or the Gazi Bay Mangrove Boardwalk offers a glimpse into coastal conservation and culture. Evenings can be spent enjoying beachfront dinners or watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Overnight at your beach resort.

Day 10: Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time for shopping or a final stroll along the beach. Later, you’ll be transferred to Ukunda Airstrip or Moi International Airport for your flight home. As your safari comes to an end, you’ll carry with you lasting memories of Kenya’s wild beauty, majestic wildlife, and serene beaches — the perfect conclusion to your 10-day Bush and Beach adventure.
