08:30 AM – Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest

Start your morning immersed in culture and history at the Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a guided walk through the ancient forest and learn about the traditions, spirituality, and customs of the Digo people. Your local guide will share stories about sacred rituals, medicinal plants, and the community’s connection to nature — a truly authentic cultural experience.

10:30 AM – Gazi Bay Mangrove Boardwalk

Next, head south to Gazi Bay, one of Kenya’s best-preserved coastal ecosystems. Walk along the mangrove boardwalk, built by the local community, and enjoy the tranquility of nature as you learn about the importance of mangroves in protecting marine life and the coastline.

You’ll also get to interact with the Gazi Women’s Mangrove Boardwalk Group, who manage the project and share insights about their conservation efforts and eco-friendly livelihoods.

12:30 PM – Lunch by the Bay

Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the water (optional, at your own cost). Relax and soak in the views of Gazi Bay’s calm waters and surrounding mangrove forests.

02:30 PM – Bora Bora Wildlife Park

After lunch, drive back toward Diani and stop at Bora Bora Wildlife Park, a conservation center and recreational park ideal for all ages. Take a guided walk to see giraffes, ostriches, tortoises, and various bird species. You can also enjoy feeding sessions and learn more about wildlife protection efforts along the coast.

04:30 PM – Return to Your Hotel

After an enriching day of culture, nature, and wildlife, your guide will drive you back to your hotel or villa in Diani Beach, arriving in the late afternoon.
